The time is NOW to select your image for the San Diego Fair! Every student can submit one image to the fair which will be printed and matted and displayed at the fair! It is a great tradition and Rancho students clean up with the awards! Put your top three images from the year into the 04-30-2016 DelMar Fair folder in order of preference- lastname-firstname-delmar1.jpg, lastname-firstname-delmar2.jpg, and finally delmar3. We will work together to pick your very best, so that we will have variety at the show and you showcase your very best piece. Make sure of course that the exposure is correct, there's no dust in the sky, it's a great composition, etc. In addition to selecting the best piece, you will do a write up about it explaining how you created it, what hardware and software you used, why it's in the specific division it's in, what the title is, etc- more details to follow. You may choose any of the photos you have done in class as well as outside of class (just make sure it's high resolution for printing purposes) within the past year. The projects we have done include: name, panorama, food, light painting, baby, tessellations, b/w landscapes, HDR landscapes, portraits, selective color, stop action, product photography, surreal, education for all, macro (for the tessellations), Halloween group portraits, studio portraits, toy story, artist as mentor, photojournalism...
