Create a document in Photoshop that is 6" wide by 12" high, 300 resolution.
Create grids in Photoshop that are 2" square by going View> new guide > 2" vertical, 4" vertical then 2" horizontal, 4" horizontal, 6" horizontal, 8" horizontal and 10" horizontal.
Open up your photo of "red". Crop into a square, as much as you would like so that the red is the predominant piece in your photo. It can be abstract!
Use your move tool to get it into the top left square. Use edit- transform- scale to make sure it's in correctly. You will be creating new layers for each color. Make sure there's no white space between them and that it's perfectly in the grid!
Follow these directions- start two minutes in for the 6" x 12" template.
