The National PTA, Parent Teacher Association, is sponsoring an art contest on the theme of "The Magic of a Moment. The prize of $100 goes to the winning entry and his or her theme will be presented at the 117th Annual National PTA Convention and Exhibition in Cincinnati, Ohio from June 20-‐23, 2013.
The due date for entries in class is October 26th. For this project, you will use the imagery of Henri Cartier-Bresson as inspiration.
Photography:
Entry must be an original black and white or color image, or a group of images, produced by a photographic process:
1. The student must be the one to take the photograph
2. It must not exceed 11" x 14" including the mounting or matting
3. Must be mounted or matted on cardboard mat, poster board or other sturdy material.
Visual Arts:
Entry must be an original print, drawing, painting, collage, photographic collage, or computer generated
