A. There is no random people or junk or stands in the background or in the photo, and crop as needed.
B. Brighten or darken as needed
C. Get rid of any spots in the sky using the retouch tool in the Photos app
D. There is a variety of poses and backgrounds- some from the outside and others from the studio (at least two from the studio and two from natural light). Be respectful of your teacher, no inappropriate poses!
E. Save your top eight as lastname-firstname-portrait1.jpg, portrait2, etc. Save in the 01-25-2018 Portrait folder in the common drive.
Create a Padlet called "Portraiture" with your top eight photographs (okay to add more, as long as they're great!) with a caption for each of the Aperture, Shutter speed and ISO and what setting it was on- aperture priority? Shutter Priority? Manual? The photographs should be the ones that you took, not of you. Make sure you are not turning in ones that someone else took!
Within your Padlet, answer the following questions:
1. What does the reflector do? How do you use it?
2. Do you think the reflector helped or hindered the portraits outside? Why or why not?
3. What did you think of the studio lighting? Did you like the background? Why or why not?
4. Were your favorite shots of the natural light or the studio lighting? Why?
5. Which one was your favorite photograph of the eight? Why?
6. What do you think you learned the most about portrait photography with this project? How do you think it will affect your future photos you take of people?
