One teacher or administrator,
one staff (janitor, security, cafeteria worker etc)
and four students, including one from this class (someone you have never taken a photo of before in class).
They cannot be interviewed by anyone else in my photo classes as I want to get as much of the student body and staff as possible. Explain to them what the project is about and get permission from them to write their story and show their photo to the school. Do not write anything that could be potentially embarrassing or something they may regret revealing later down the road. Of course, you are welcome to photograph more then the six.
Take a photo of them where they tell you- where it will tell a story about them or what they told you about. As always, make sure there's no junk in the background, your horizons are straight, no random trashcans/photobombs in the background. Take at least six photos (so you have a few to choose from)- full figure, from waist up, horizontal and vertical in an appropriate setting and make sure they look good! I recommend taking them in a shaded area so there's no harsh shadows under their eyes.
Choose students from different grade levels to get a full feel of the school. Have a different question for each person- not just a yes or no question- and do a write up of what they say. If it makes it easier, use the microphone on your phone to make sure you're getting all of what they're saying. Note you may have to do most of this during lunch or after school. I prefer that at least one of your subjects is someone you do not know.
Put your image and write up on this Padlet- it will be the same for ALL periods.
The title is your subject's FIRST name (no last name- unless of course it's staff/teacher/administration, in which case it will be Mr. or Ms. and their last name), the question in italics, and what they said, in 1- 2 paragraphs, grammatically correct as possible and in quotation marks. At the end write, reported by your first and last name. Do NOT create your own Padlet, you will be putting all your images and write up on the master Padlet.
Put your six photos in the common drive folder 04-12-2018 Humans of RBV as lastname-firstname-firstnameofsubject.jpg
