As soon as we arrived at the cabins, everyone started making a fuss pushing and shoving each other while exiting the bus. We all gathered around getting divided into groups, then afterwards everyone started heading to their assigned cabins.
That night the teachers decided to gather all the kids together for a game of Hide and Seek. The whistle was blown and as we all began to run through the forest. I could hear the noise of leaves rustling and heavy panting as the teachers began to count down. The sound of feet began to lessen once everyone found their hiding spot. Looking around I noticed there was no longer anyone beside me, stopping in my tracks. I decided to hide behind a tree waiting for one of the teachers to find me. As I hear footprints approaching me my heart begins to speed up, tensing my shoulders up trying to make myself as small as possible. Closing my eyes, a hand grabbed me, making me scream, then a great amount of relief flooded through me as I saw my teacher apologizing for the sudden startle.
After everyone was found all the students started walking back to their cabins, a sudden scream broke the noise of chatter among us. Turning our heads we tried to locate the source of the scream. In the distance we all see a shadow figure pulling a student by the collar dragging him back into the woods. Looking around I notice the same students go into shock, others start running after the figure, while the rest go look for the teachers. Once the teachers arrived the students that went chasing after the figure came back to tell everyone that they couldn't find the figure or the student. Afterward the teachers went out searching, coming back late at night telling everyone there was no trace of the kid or the shadowed figure.
