Amy was a college student who had been working at her local antique for a few months now and she would always get the late shifts. So she would lock up the store by herself every night and she never really minded it. Recently she had noticed a vinyl doll, placed near the back of the antique shop, that she had never seen before and she just assumed that is was a new item. Amy was never really the frightful type, but something about this doll just didn't seem right to her. She felt watched, and uneasy but she tried to brush it off as best she could. The shop was pretty busy all day and she didn't think much about the doll for a while until it was time to close and her co-worker had just left. So Amy was now all alone and she was getting ready to leave, but she heard a noise and she walked around the store slowly to see who or what it was. She froze for a moment. It was the doll, the box had disappeared and Amy panicked. Had she sold it? Had she misplaced it? Was it never really there? She began to question herself because it made no sense how a doll could just be gone from one moment to the next. Amy was in fact not imagining it because as she turned around there she was. The doll was looking straight at her and she was standing up. It was like she was alive and she headed towards Amy. Amy freaked out and headed to the nearest exit as she ran for her life in fear.
Amy tried to get away, but as she attempted to exit through to the gate she soon realized that it had been locked. There was no way out for her. Then all of a sudden she felt a sharp poke on her arm and she began to feel dizzy. Amy blacked out and when she woke up she had no clue what had happened to her, but the first thing she noticed was that she could not move. She tried moving her arms and her legs but they would not budge. She stopped for a second and saw a slight reflection of herself through a piece of clear plastic film that was right in front of her. Then it finally hit her, she was in the old taped up cardboard box. She was in the body of the vinyl doll, which could only mean one thing. Somehow her body got switched with the creepy doll that had been after her all night. Amy was now trapped, she could no longer speak, or move . She was paralyzed and since her body was still in use, although not by her, nobody would ever notice that she the girl walking around was not really Amy, nor would it every be again.
The vinyl doll now had Amy's body. She was human now, no longer contained in an old cardboard box. Not treated as a toy that could thrown around and left like garbage. Catherine, her name was Catherine and as she stepped out into the world in this new human body, she had only a single purpose. She was looking for revenge and there was no way for anyone to stop her.
