Shutter Speed Exercise
You will be uploading your images onto your own Padlet as a new post titled “Shutter Speed Exercise.”

 To create a padlet:
    a. Go to padlet.com
    b. Sign up with Google- use your email address to sign up with, and have your password as your 8 digit     birthday.
    c. Create a padlet by pressing "new padlet".
    d. Choose a "streaming" one
    d. Go to the wagon wheel on the right hand side of the background area and press "modify this padlet"
    e. Title the padlet your first and last name and Shutter Speed
    f. Have the description be Shutter Speed
    h. Start uploading your photos onto your padlet by double clicking on the grey area.

Add your padlet address to the class padlet which is according to your period number.  Have the title be your name and shutter speed.

For your Padlet-
Have your best photo of the 1/3, 1/30, 1/60th, 1/250 and 1/750 (or 1/800) on there, making sure your main subject is in focus. You can find the information about each photograph in "info" in the Photos application.
Do not use photos with you in them, they should be the ones that you took!

In each photo's title you will be stating what the shutter speed, aperture and ISO is (and writing out aperture f/22, shutter speed 1/30th of a second, ISO 200 etc- NOT 1/3, f/22, 200). Under description write out what you see in the photograph. Attach the photograph to the post. Make sure you are keeping the photos in order from slowest to fastest.

Answer the following questions as a separate post on the Padlet using complete sentences in 2-3 paragraphs:
  1. Explanation of how you changed the camera to be Shutter Priority- describe it.
  2. Explanation of what happens to the photograph when the shutter speed changes according to what you saw.
  3. Explanation of why you would want to use shutter speed as priority- what situations would you use it? Use your notes and your own words!

After you are done with uploading your images from the project, include two other photos from the web= one for fast shutter speed and one for slow shutter speed= and indicate which is fast and which is slow shutter speed, what the technical settings were from the website (or from the notes in class if they don't indicate it on the website) and why you like it.

Link your padlet address to your period number's master Padlet for us to link to your page.

To get your page's web address, go to "Share" on the top right of your padlet and press
Share/Export/Embed.
Go to Embed this web address.
Copy your web address that's underneath the words-
Paste the padlet URL in the class post under your name as a web attachment and the padlet will be embedded automatically.

You will be adding your padlet address to the master list as indicated below for grading purposes. Title will be your first and last name, description will be "Shutter speed exercise."
